Tip Tuesday

Well it's definitely starting to feel like Spring out.  Sunday was such a beautiful day.  We spent most of it inside at the Bridal Confidential bridal show at the Lamplighter Inn.  Going back to the Lamplighter always makes me nostalgic as it was where I said I do to my husband almost four years ago.

Anyways back to the post, I thought it would be appropriate to give you a few tips on wedding showers today as I know many brides who are having "Spring Showers".

At your shower have your maid of honor or mother sit beside you and write down the gifts that you receive on the cards that people gave you.

Pass out envelopes that fit your thank you cards and have each of your guest write their address on it. This will save you time writing out everyone's addresses on their thank you card envelope after the shower.

Get those thank you cards out in the mail within a couple of weeks of the shower.  Do not wait until after the wedding when you'll have all the wedding thank you's to do too.

Be sure to update your registries before the shower and make sure there are lots of gifts in different price ranges.

Be sure to thank everyone for coming, thank the hostess for putting on the shower and thank everyone for their love and support as you prepare for the wedding!
